Sci-fi Thriller TAU Ropes In Maika Monroe, Ed Skrein

Federico D’ Alessandro’s sci-fi thriller ‘TAU’ has found its lead characters in Ed Skrein and Maika Monroe. The script for the film will be written by Noga Landau. Maika will play a street-smart grifter who has been kidnapped for a fatal experiment. Ed will play Alex, her captor and the developer of TAU, an advanced artificial intelligence.

The movie will be produced by David S. Goyer and Kevin Turen. David recently spoke about the project and shared, “From the first moment Noga’s script made the Blacklist, we knew we wanted to be part of this special project. Federico’s vision for the film was one of the most assured director presentations I have ever seen. Our backing of these two new voices continues our commitment to emerging filmmakers”.

David and Kevin will be joined by Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder as producers. The executive producers include Ken Kao, Dan Kao and Luc Etienne. David also thanked Ken and the Waypoint team for helping them in bringing the story on screen.
