Stacy Martin To Star In ‘Vox Lux’

According to a report in Variety, Hollywood actress Stacy Martin has signed for the upcoming film, Vox Lux. The actress, who had earlier appeared in All the Money in the World, is all set to star in the film alongside Natalie Portman and Jude Law.

The story of the film Vox Lux revolves around a character named Celeste, who rises from the ashes of a major nationwide disaster to pop superstardom. Moreover, the film sketches significant cultural moments through the singer’s eye from the time span since 1999 and ending in the present day.

Further, the film has been written and helmed by Brady Corbet, which is a development to his debut directorial The Childhood of a Leader that bagged two awards at the 2015 Venice Film Festival. Music will be scored by Grammy-nominated artist Sia and it is being backed by Kodak in equity and marketing. Primary camera work will commence in New York City on Feb 1st.
