Steve Carell shows his humane face at pizza restaurant

Hollywood star Steve Carell turns into a stand-in waiter to help out the owner of his favourite Pizza joint who was facing a difficulty due to staff crunch. The self-proclaimed pizza lover, who went to North Hollywood pizzeria to pick up a pie, saw that the owner was in a panic as a member of staff didn't turn up for work. The Seeking a Friend for the End of the World star immediately offered his help and took care of the behind the counter work. He remained there for around an hour wearing an apron and answering the phone, not only this, he also took orders from hungry customers. The restaurant owner gave the actor a free meal to express his gratitude, saying, ''Take the pizza. It costs me less than having to pay you.''
