Terminator Genisys to be released in India on July 3

Terminator Genisys will hit the screens in India on July 3. The movie, which has been helmed by Alan Taylor, is the fifth instalment of the Terminator film series. The film features Arnold Schwarzenegger, Emilia Clarke and Jason Clarke in the lead roles."I had just come off my first big movie experience with 'Thor: The Dark World' and had mixed feelings in many ways about getting involved in another large production, but I couldn't say no to Terminator Genisys”, said Alan Taylor.

"First of all I was drawn to the themes that were already very strong in Cameron's first two movies, even though they were big budget action films, as they were very pressing and still relevant today in regards to what it means to be human”, he added. The sci-fi action thriller takes us forward in time to the year 2029, where John Connor leads the war against the machines. Connor finds himself in a fix when he learns that Skynet will attack him from the past as well as the future, to alter the course of the war.

The movie has been produced by David Ellison and Dana Goldberg. Taylor has directed the film from the script written by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. The film also features Jai Courtney, Lee Byung-hun, Matt Smith and J.K. Simmons.
