Tom Cruise to stuff up as he gains weight for ‘Mena’

The quest to make himself look as real as possible on screen always takes Tom Cruise in the league of actors highly dedicated to work. According to reports, the actor would now be seen in an in-depth character putting a lot of weight on for his film ‘Mena’.

The actor will be seen portraying the role of pilot Barry Seal who was known to have trafficked drugs, ammunition and guns for the gangsters of Colombia. He later became a CIA agent himself. While Tom could have easily put on the stuffed suits to look fat and heavy, he rather chose to go through the drill of naturally gaining weight. The 52 year thought it was very important to look realistic while essaying such a role. It is being reported that he will have to put as much as 50 lbs to fit in the shoes of Barry Seal.
