Tom Cruise submerges himself in work to divert attention from divorce

The friends of Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise, who officially divorced his third wife Katie Holmes and mother of his first biological child Suri last Monday, want him to relax a bit. The Rock of Ages actor and the Dawson's Creek actress' five-year marriage came to an end on August 20 when a New York judge signed off on the final judgment. Since his separation, the actor has been focusing fully on his career without taking any break and this has made his loved ones worried. According to a Grazia magazine report, ''Tom's friends and family have urged him to take a break, but he has brushed off their concern. He is refusing to slow down and is trying to soldier on. He doesn't seem to be himself. He hasn't been working out like he normally does and doesn't appear to be eating well at all. His clothes just hang off him.'' To divert his attention from the emotional turmoil going on in his life he has thrown himself into work, but as a result he's not looking after himself and he risks cutting himself off from people who care about him and want to make sure he's ok, the source added.
