Tom Hardy To Portray Fearsome Gangster In ‘Fonzo’

After impressing the audiences with his performances in ‘The Revenant’, Tom Hardy has bagged another interesting role. If reports are to be believed, then the actor will be seen playing Al Capone, a legendary American gangster, in his next 'Fonzo'. Josh Trank of the Chronicle fame has been appointed to pen down the script and helm the venture as well.

Reports suggest that BLOOM will be handling the international sales on the project and it will introduce it to buyers next week at the American Film Market. One of BLOOM’s spokesperson said, "The movie brings together the myth and lore of notorious American Gangster Al Capone, with the undeniable talent of Tom Hardy and Josh Trank. We are thrilled to bring this film to buyers at the AFM".

Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder will bankroll the flick. Al Capone was one of the most feared gangsters in America. Josh Trank will be hoping that he bounces back after his last offering ‘Fantastic Four’ was blasted by the movie buffs. Let’s hope that he delivers a really fascinating movie with the Legend actor.
