Trailer out for `The Homesman`

International preview is out for American actor and film director Tommy Lee Jones`s western film `The Homesman`. Directed by Jones, the film also stars George Briggs, a scoundrel who is rescued from being hanged by a worn out voyager Mary Bee Cuddy staged by Hilary Swank, supposedly.

Meryl Streep, her daughter Grace Gummer, Hailee Steinfeld, James Spader and Jesse Plemons are a part of the cast and crew of the film. The film with its shooting locations in Georgia releases on October 17 in the UK and on November 7 in the US.

`The Homesman` is a typical western drama co-written with Kieran Fitzgerald and Wesley Oliver. It is based on a novel of similar name by Glendon Swarthout.
