Vin Diesel Praises Dwayne Johnson

The cast of Fast 8 has been under the spotlight ever since Dwayne Johnson slammed one of the actors, not clearly stating who he was targeting. It was speculated that the actor is talking about Vin Diesel but nothing was confirmed. Now, it seems like Diesel is trying to move on and bury the hatchet with Dwayne. Diesel recently praised his co-star on a Facebook live video saying that he shined in his role.

“The reason we brought Dwayne Johnson into Fast 5 was because of you! There was a girl named Jan Kelly who said, 'I would love to see you work together on screen.' So the role that was originally written for Tommy Lee Jones, we gave it to Dwayne and he shined in it”, the xXx franchise actor stated.

Dwayne has not said anything about this statement and chooses to remain silent. The shooting for the film has been wrapped up. Dwayne took to Instagram to thank his co-stars but left Diesel out from the list. Let's hope the differences between the duo are solved. Fast 8 will be hitting the screens on April 14 next year.
