Warner Bros. To Remake 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers'!

The trend of remaking the black and white movies of the early twentieth century is on a rising high. After Universal Studios announced the reboot of Dracula, Frankenstein, Invisible Man under the franchise of Dark Universe. Now, Warner Bros. has announced the remake of the 1956 movie, 'Invasion of the Body Snatchers'.

The movie revolved around a small-town doctor, who learns that the population of his community is being replaced by emotionless alien duplicates. The movie will be penned by David Leslie and bankrolled by John Davis.

Regarding the scriptwriter, Leslie is known to have penned the scripts of horror movies such as Orphan and The Conjuring 2. The scriptwriter has also penned the script of ‘The Conjuring 3’. He is also working on the script of the 'Nightmare on Elm Street' remake.
