WOW! Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie Tied The Knot

And it is like a true fairy tale. The Game of Thrones on-screen pair Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie turned their reel life love-story into their real wedding on Saturday. The couple tied the knot in Aberdeenshire, Scotland near the Wardhill Castle. The couple had been together for over four years.

Harington was wearing a morning suit, and Leslie was in a flowing ivory gown and veil, smiled at members of the public who had gathered outside the church. Guests cheered and threw confetti on the couple as they made their way through the aisle and drove off in a Land Rover adorned with “Just Married”. Actors from the series of Game of Thrones were among the guests. Co-stars Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke attended their wedding.

The couple announced their engagement with a notice in the Times of London newspaper in September. They met in 2012 on the set of the GOT, where they played a couple as the characters Jon Snow and Ygritte. Interestingly, Leslie is a descendant of King Charles II, and the 12th Century castle has been owned by her family for over 900 years now.
