Zayn Malik Was Once Told To Drop Music

Singer Zayn Malik has revealed that once, someone told him that music wasn't his forte and that he should pursue his career in something else. Zayn was the former member of One Direction, but due to some misunderstandings, he had left the band and took the stage as a solo artiste. However, Malik had to overcome some personal hardships, for which he had to go through a lot of criticism.

The 24-year-old singer took to his Twitter handle and wrote, "I recall someone saying to me a while back music wasn't my thing and maybe I should try something else. I guess we're all good at doing things we shouldn't..." Looks like, this tweet is being addressed to his haters who initially thought that music was not his thing.

This was tweeted after his stripped-back version of the song ‘I don't wanna live forever’; a duet with singer Taylor Swift was released.  However, the song took the internet by storm and the his latest activity on Twitter might surely have zipped the mouths of those obnoxious people out there who discouraged him to drop his passion for music. ‘I don't wanna live forever’ is a track from the upcoming movie, Fifty Shades Darker which is slated to release in US this year on February 10.
