Ammith Rao Is Happy Doing Television

With dream to leave a major impact on big screen, actor Ammith Rao entered into Kannada film industry. The star however, didn’t have best of the starts and his movies did little good at box office. It was then, that he got a call from TV popular director Vinu Balanja.

Now, the star is easily recognized in every household with his successful daily soaps lately. “It was at a stage in my life when I wanted to do more challenging work and films were not able to fulfil that. That’s when Vinu Balanja, who is an acclaimed director in the TV arena, gave me a call and asked if I wanted to give television a try. It was for the serial Chitte Hejje”, said Ammith Rao.

He particularly mentioned Agnisakshi, which brought fame to Ammith Rao. “The other day, I was at an upmarket mall and an elite set walked up to me for a selfie. This has never happened earlier and I’m glad that TV is breaking new ground”, said the small screen superstar. Ammith was far more delighted to be compared by them with legend Vajramuni.
