Director Hemanth M Rao Reveals The First Look Of Ananth Nag Starrer 'Kavaludaari'!

Sandalwood actor Anant Nagarkatte, popularly known as Anant Nag has contributed immensely in the Kannada movie industry with movies such as Ganeshana Maduve, Gauri Ganesha and Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu. The veteran actor will be next seen in a movie titled as ‘Kavalu Daari’. The movie is helmed by Hemanth M Rao.

The movie is still under works. Regarding Anant’s role, the filmmaker recently shared the first look of Nag’s character. Hemanth was quoted as saying, “Ananth sir plays a retired inspector, who is a recluse in the film. He lives far from the maddening crowd of the city, in a farmland on the outskirts of Bengaluru. This farm is completely in shambles and the surroundings and his lifestyle define his character”.

He further added, “Incidentally, his character is named Muthanna and like most men from Coorg, he too has an affinity towards the bottle”. Rao closed his statement further revealing that Nag’s character has taken a permanent break from his work and lives in self-exile. ‘Kavalu Daari’ is a noir drama genre movie and stars Rishi, Roshni Prakash, Siddharth Madhyamika, Siri, Samanvitha Shetty, Suman Ranganath, Achyuth Kumar and Sulile Kumar.
