Duniya Vijay’s Son Samrat To Debut With Kusthi

It has been reported by a leading daily that actor Duniya Vijay's son, Samrat, who is only 12-year-old, is on the brink to enter the film industry. The kid is all set to star in Vijay's upcoming film, Kusthi. Vijay is known to be a fitness freak and he has been planning on a movie in this genre for a very long long time.

When asked about the film, Vijay said, “I came up with a one-line concept for a stunt-based film during the shoot of Jhonny Jhonny Yes Papa and discussed it with director Preetam Gubbi. Later, when we zeroed in on the director — Anil Mandya, who has been an associate on Mr and Mrs Ramachari and Raajakumara — the three of us developed the story further. The script demanded the presence of a young boy. I asked Samrat if he would play the role and he jumped at the offer. It was as if films were always on his mind and he was just waiting for me to ask him”.

Further, Vijay’s son, Samrat said, “My father is with me all the time while training for the film. I've learnt taekwando, kusthi and gymnastics from him”, he further added that he is strict while doing workouts, but is extremely friendly once they are done. In the film, Vijay will be portraying a bulky Physique like never before, while Samrat will play a young kusthi champ.
