Gangadhar Salimath Is More than A Filmmaker

Director Gangadhar Salimath, whose film, 'Ayana' is going to be released next week is interestingly an engineer-turned-entrepreneur-turned-filmmaker. Thus, his film reflects the journey of an entrepreneur. He had recently admitted that Ayana is a semi-autobiographical film.

The director before of the film's release said, “I also tried my hand at turning entrepreneur and had my share of ups and downs, but there wasn't as much drama as there is in my protagonist's life, and I got out of it before it turned bad. But yes, I was inspired by my own story and several others I have heard from friends while writing the script of Ayana”.

Gangadhar revealed that earlier when he decided to turn director, he wanted to make a thriller. However, it didn’t work out at that time. 'Ayana' will mark the debut of Gangadhar as a director. The director also expressed that Varun is the biggest gift to his film. The film is slated to release soon.
