PC Shekar’s Next Starring Ragini Dwivedi Is ‘The Terrorist’

Director PC Shekar is all set to make a film starring actress Ragini Dwivedi in the lead role. And the latest news is that the director has finally got a title for his film. The director has officially registered his film as The Terrorist, which goes well with the content of the movie, as it is on terrorism.

Earlier, there were issues regarding the naming of the film as another filmmaker held the rights to the name Terror. Shekhar said, “We sorted out all of that and are now in pre-production. These days, it is important for a film team to have a robust social media presence, but unfortunately, we are not able to use the title for social media handles due to the security policies on those portals. While we considered short forms like 'TTFilm' as the handle, it doesn't really serve our purpose. So, we are in the process of discussing this with teams from the portals”.

The director also revealed the reason behind the making of the film. He said that the film has been inspired by the serial blasts that shook Bengaluru in 2008. As many as nine blasts occurred across different parts of the city within the span of less than an hour. Moreover, Shekhar revealed that the film is about how a woman fights against atrocities, even providing a non-violent solution.
