Rishab Shetty Will Tie The Knot In February

Actor-Director Rishab Shetty is all set to tie the knot. Despite being the director of romantic film, it is an arrange marriage for him. He is to marry software professional Pragathi Shetty in the first week of February 2017. The wedding will take place in his hometown Kundapura.

"I did not want to get married, but my mother insisted that I do. My sister, Prathibha, introduced me to Pragathi, who is her colleague at work. I was smitten as soon as I met her," says Rishab, adding that his fiancee is simple and not swayed by the ways of showbiz. He further added, “My family is thrilled. They wanted to hold the wedding sooner, but since I'm busy with Kirik Party, we had to hold on to the plans for a while. Last Monday, elders from both families met and our horoscopes were matched, along with which the wedding details and venue were also fixed. 2017 is set to be a good year for me.”

Rishab started his career as an actor. His debut film was ‘Tuglak’. This year he donned the director’s hat. His directorial debut was ‘Ricky’ that released on January 22. The film was a suspenseful entertainer. Moreover, Shetty has a strong theatre background having done yakshagana, which is a folk art form in coastal Karnataka.
