Samskruthy Shenoy All Set For Her Kannada Debut

The young and beautiful actress, Samskruthy Shenoy, has already mesmerised the south cinema industry with her impressive works in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil films. Reportedly, the actress is now all set to make a Sandalwood debut soon. She made her big screen debut with a Mollywood movie named ‘My Fan Ramu’, directed by debutant Nikhil K. Menon.

As per the reports, Samskruthy has been roped in by director K. Mahesh Sukhadhare for his next. The film is titled ‘Happy Birthday’. The 18-year-old actress spoke to BT about balancing films and school. She revealed that her father wanted her to work in the Kannada industry.

She was asked about her character in ‘Happy Birthday’, to which she replied, “My character, Anjali, doesn’t have a mother and her father is a drunkard, but she loves him. It’s a bold role as she is a self-made girl, but has an innocence that other people don’t see.” She further added, “She works in a photocopy shop, and the story revolves around what happens when a poor girl comes in contact with an irresponsible guy; it's about their conflict and eventual romance. On the other hand, there is also the father-daughter track, so there was a lot of scope to emote.”

Desimartini wishes the adolescent actress, Samskruthy Shenoy, all the very best for her Kannada debut.
