Samyukta Hornad To Play Rowdy Chaya

Samyukta Hornad instantly gives the nod when director Mussanje Mahesh narrated the script of MMCH to her. The actress seems quite excited about the prospect of getting to beat up men in the movie. The movie will see Samyukta, Meghana Raj, Deepthi and Prathama Prasad in leading roles.

Samyukta, talking about the movie, said, “When Mahesh sir narrated the story to me, he told me, ‘Madam, neevu rowdy thara hoditira ’. I was amused by that and I said, ‘Cool, let’s do this’. There’s no hero as such in the film, and you get to see the four leading ladies doing what heroes usually do in films”. Moreover, the character she plays in the movie is totally a rowdy and careless tomboy. She has learnt kickboxing for playing her character.

On this, she said, “She beats up boys and is rowdy. Chaya is the most careless one in the movie; the others characters are a little girlie and care about their looks, but Chaya doesn’t care about anything. I have punched and kicked guys in the movie, and I am very happy about it (laughs). I don’t think I will ever do something like that in real life, but that part of me is satisfied because I got to do it onscreen,” says Samyukta.
