Sudeep: ‘I Have Decided Not To Be Ambitious’

Sudeep, who has recently won the title of Bangalore Times Most Desirable Man, confessed that he has decided not to be ambitious from now on. The actor told TOI, “Personally, I feel it has to do with the fact that I have consciously stopped running after certain things over the years. I have decided not to be ambitious about getting somewhere, instead opting to enjoy my work. I have been taking up only those projects that excite me. Yes, there have been films that I have done as goodwill gestures for friends, but even those have fetched me good results, as I have never compromised on content”.

When asked who he would contribute his success to, the Sandalwood star said, “I have learnt to live my life by the day. For instance, when on the road, one could be obsessed about overtaking the car in front of you. But you are losing out on enjoying the drive in a car that you have chosen for yourself”.

He continued, “I have learnt to enjoy my journey on the path that I have chosen. I have become calm and I find that that helps me handle situations better. Today, I have so many great filmmakers wanting to work with me and I am enjoying this phase thoroughly”. Sudeep has won the title for the third time in a row.
