This Is How Suraj Gowda Bagged Srinagar Kitty's 'Siliconn City'

Murali Gurappa’s upcoming action movie ‘Siliconn City’ will star Srinagar Kitty, Suraj Gowda, Kavya Shetty and Ekta Rathod in the lead roles. The film, which is on the verge of releasing, is the remake of Anandakrishnan’s 2016 Kollywood flick ‘Metro’. Recently, Kitty talked about how Suraj managed to bag the opportunity of starring alongside him.

“We used to work out at the same gym. I had noticed him and, hence, approached him for the role of my younger brother in the film. I told him to try and watch the Tamil film Metro (which the film is a remake of) and let me know what he thinks of it. Suraj watched it the same evening and the next day, we met, spoke briefly and he was on board”, Kitty revealed.

Apparently, working out really worked out for Suraj. He made his Sandalwood debut with Kaviraj’s ‘Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole’. Desimartni wishes strokes of luck to Suraj for all his future ventures.

On a related note, ‘Metro’ was based on the theme of chain snatching in the city of Chennai.
