17th Ujala Asianet Awards distributed in star-studded event

Mollywood celebrities were spotted in a gala mood as the most awaited award night took place on Sunday at Willingdon Island, Kochi. With the presence of celebrities including the top league actors, singers and technicians, the night turned out to be extremely bright and beautiful.

Almost all the known faces were present at the star-studded event but Fahadh and Nazriya turned out to be showstoppers as the much-in-love couple was spotted for the first time after marriage.

It was a candid moment for Mammootty and Manju Warrier who received award for best actor and best actress respectively. Kaviyoor Ponnamma was honoured with the Lifetime Acheivement Award.

Iyobinte Pusthakam was declared as the best movie, whereas, Bangalore Days became the best popular movie. Nikki Galrani who won the Best Debuatnte Award also performed a special dance number at the event. Other actors and singers including Nikki Galrani, Rimi Tomy, Haricharan Sheshadri delighted the audience with their dazzling stage performances.
