‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ To Release On October 16

‘Classmates’, a romantic thriller by director Lal Jose, proved out to be a blockbuster in Mollywood in 2006. The film featured Prithviraj, Jayasurya and Indrajith, the three were praised and applauded for their performance in the film. Now, the trio is back to entertain the Malayalam audience.

According to the reports, the trio is back with ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, which is touted to be a comedy film. Helmed by comedian Nadirshah, the film cleared the censorship test recently and is gearing up to hit the screens on October 16. The director of the film has also composed the songs of the flick.

Namitha Pramod will be seen in the film as the female lead. Award winning cinematographer Sujit Vaassudev has handled the camera. Alwin Antony has bankrolled the film jointly with Dr. Zachariah Thomas. The trailer of the film was released last week and it got thumbs up from the viewers. Let’s hope that the trio is able to repeat their success after 9 years.
