Andrea Jeremiah To Play Mammootty's Love Interest In ‘Thoppil Joppan’

Mammootty and Andrea Jeremiah who were last seen together in ‘Loham’ are all set to share the screen space once again in ‘Thoppil Joppan’. According to a source to TOI, “Andrea has signed the film and will join the sets within a fortnight”. Grapevine further Deepti Sati has also been approached for the second female lead role.

The film is helmed by Johny Anthony. Nishad Koya, who penned the script for the film said, “The story has two timelines and each actress will play the romantic interest of Mammukka's character Joppan in a particular phase in his life”. About the story of the film Nishad said, “It has a humorous, breezy story with Mammootty playing a Kabbadi enthusiast who is part of a club. He hangs around with his other teammates, who will be played by Alencier Ley, Saju Navodaya and Sreejith Ravi”.

When Deepti Sati was asked if she has signed the film, she said, “I'm yet to commit to the film. We are still negotiating the dates. So, it's too soon to confirm my involvement in the movie”.
