From being villain to a comic caper, Iniya’s next is a romantic comedy

After having played a negative role in her previous film, Malayalam actress Iniya is on her course to try different genres. Her upcoming film Kadhal Solla Neram Illai is apparently a romantic comedy as she plays a healthcare assistant.

The film is directed by G. Srinivasan who looked rather excited about the project. “It's a beautiful love story, with comedy elements. Iniya plays a healthcare assistant who comes down to a village for a job. The hero of the film is a happy-go-lucky guy, who realises what love is after his first encounter with Iniya." 

The director also added that the film will be on the lined classic comedy Kadhalikka Neram Illa. "An interesting and off-beat song was shot in Kallakurichi village — all the people there were cooperative, and, in fact, some performed in the song, too. Most of them shaved their moustache in a funny way just for the song. The film will be on the lines of the classic comedy, Kadhalikka Neram Illa," he added.
