Dileep to Play Superhero in ‘The Legend’

For Long Dileep has portrayed larger than life role on the screen. In his next film with director Jomon, the actor will be seen playing a superhero. The film, which is said to be on the lines of Samrajyam and Jackpot, is titled ‘The Legend’.

Talking of the film, the director told TOI, “Dileep will play a government pleader by profession, a strong and memorable character. It will be a never-before role for him and will showcase him as a heroic character, with his characteristic humour as well. The film will have action, songs and will be a complete entertainer with social elements”.

Rajeev Govinda Pillai will play a police officer in this film. Kannada actress Arun Dev is also a part of the project. Reportedly, the film will have three heroines.  The casting for these actresses is yet-to-be done. The script of the film has been penned by Baijuraj and the music is given by Gopi Sunder.  ‘The Legend’ is expected to go on floors by the end of October in Kochi and Mumbai.
