EXCLUSIVE: Prithviraj’s Ezra Gets A Ukraine Release

Ezra makers must be on cloud nine right now, as the horror flick, starring Prithviraj has set groundbreaking records by becoming the first Malayalam film to get maximum screenings outside Kerala. Malayalam industry had been going through a rough patch in the form of theatre strike until Ezra showed and flipped the history of the industry.

Luckily, all the films that were released post the strike went pretty well at the box office. But Ezra is one exceptional case which has set soaring records as it was released in 157 centres. The film was released in 37 American centres and it also managed screenings in 17 Canadian centres.

Well, the fascinating part is that Ezra became the first Indian movie which managed a release in France as well, after Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur. You won’t believe it has been released in Ukraine as well. Wow! It really has set new records.
