Guess Which Is The Next Megastar Starring In The Upcoming Mythological Flick!

In Mollywood, there are a number of mythological movies which are currently under the process of shooting. All the megastars have been roped in to star in these yet to be released mythology genre flicks such as Tovino Thomas’s Chengazhi Nambiar, Mohanlal’s Mahabharatha and Prithviraj’s Karnan.

Another big actor is set to star in another upcoming mythological flick. Superstar Mammootty will star in a movie titled as ‘Mamankam’. The movie will be based on an ancient fair, which was celebrated after the gap of every 12 years between 800 AD and 1755 AD. Regarding the movie, a source was quoted as saying, "It's the tale of the brave warriors of Malabar. During the Mamankam festival held at the banks of Bharathapuzha in Tirunavaya, soldiers from all over the country used to come together to wager battles and combat".

 The source further added, “This movie is about a brave leader and his loyal soldiers”. ‘Mamankam’ will mark the directorial debut of filmmaker Sajeev Pillai. Mammootty is currently shooting for the movie, Uncle, which is helmed by Girish Damodhar.
