Indrajith To Play Police Officer In ‘Naragasooran’

It seems like that filmmakers love the way actor Indrajith portrays the role of a police officer. After playing a cop in ‘Vettah’ and ‘Kaadu Pookkuna Neram’, the actor will yet again play the same in director Karthick Naren’s forthcoming film ‘Naragasooran’. The movie will mark his comeback after a long hiatus of eight years.

Talking about his role in Naragasooran, Indrajith said, "I play a police officer but the movie is not about a hero and a villain pitted against each other. The basic concept is that everyone has both virtues and vices. Every character in the film will have positive and negative shades."

The movie will start rolling from September 16. Apart from Indrajith, the flick also features Arvind Swami, Shriya Saran and Sundeep Kishan. Indrajith said that he is very thrilled about working with Karthick. "It's Karthick's next film after his blockbuster debut Dhruvangal 16. I was in Tamil Nadu last week and people within the industry are anxiously awaiting his next project. A lot of people actually welcomed me to Kollywood and said they are looking forward to what Karthick is upto," he says.
