Mammootty Will Not Star In Dulquer Salmaan’s ‘Charlie’

The trailer of Dulquer Salmaan’s upcoming film ‘Charlie’ was released couple of days back. It was liked by the audiences and it’s viewcount stood at 3,88,688 in a very short period of time. Currently, the team of the film is gearing up for its release. It will hit the screens on December 18.

Speculations were rife that Mammootty will be starring in the Martin Prakkat directorial. But the director thrashed the rumours and clarified that Prithviraj is a part of the film and not the Bhaskar the Rascal actor. He said, "A lot of casting rumours have come out but there's no truth in it. My film does not have Mammootty or Sunny Wayne or even Jacob Gregory. It's a simple love story and I hope the audience will like it".

Prithviraj will just be doing the narration in the fantasy –comedy film. Parvathy will be seen playing the female lead in the flick. The film has been bankrolled under Finding Cinema and has music by Gopi Sundar.
