Mamta And Parvathy To Feature In Crossroad

With one of its kind movie, an anthology flick is set to have at least 12 lead actresses. The character role for Parvathy and Mamta has been out now. Interestingly, Lenin Rajendran's segment will have Parvathy as a Muslim girl, on the other hand, Mamta’s Badr character will be directed by Ashok R Nath.

"The segment is based on a real-life incident, and the protagonist is still living in Warangal in Telangana”, said Badr. He added, "Badr is an Arabic word which means full moon's light. The title character is called Badrunnisa and she is someone who loses her husband and son in an accident when she is very young”.

Spilling the beans on the story further, he said that Badrunnisa will meet a person with a name Madhavan Nair and a father-daughter relationship would form. The subject is themed on the communal harmony, which suggests that friendship and relationship goes beyond religion.
