Nivin Pauly gained utmost stardom with his role as a cricket fan and a small town batsman in 1983. Now, rumours are doing rounds that the heartthrob is coming for a biopic which narrates the tale of a celebrated football player and actor IM Vijayan. Fans are you reading this?

IM Vijayan is not only popular as the world-class football player, but he also acted in few Malayalam films. Now a biopic on this renowned sportsperson? If reports are anything to go by, Nivin Pauly is playing Vijayan.

Arun Gopy, who has worked as an associate director before will be helming this project. The film is likely to go on floors next month. However, a public confirmation on the project is awaited! Nivin Pauly will next be seen in Sidhartha Siva’s upcoming directorial Sakhavu. The film, which also stars Aishwarya Rajesh, Gayathri Suresh, Aparna Gopinath, Sreenivasan, K.P.A.C. Lalitha, Maniyanpilla Raju and Renji Panicker is set to premier this year on April 15.
