Picket 43 director Major Ravi lands in trouble

Picket 43 director Major Ravi is back in the headlines, again for wrong reasons. In a fresh case, producer of Picket 43 has filed a complaint against the filmmaker stating that the Prithviraj starrer caused huge financial loss. According to the producer Sunil O G, the movie which was previously stipulated with a budget of 4 crores, was later exceeded by about 70 lakhs rupees.

Sunil says, "We have a legal agreement stating that the film should be completed within a stipulated budget, but Ravi couldn't manage the expenses. And hence, I filed a complaint."  The producer further pointed out that working with such reckless filmmakers could be detrimental to the industry.

Since his entry into movie industry, Major Ravi has been controversy’s favourite child. The filmmaker’s brawl with actor Unni Mukundan and his scuffle with yesteryear actor-director Kamal over his controversial speech has already created a huge stir in Mollywood.
