Poonam Bajwa to play homemaker in latest project

Poonam Bajwa will be seen playing the role of a homemaker in her next film. The untitled film will be helmed by debutant director Ullas Unnikrishnan. The 24-year-old actress has shown her ability to cope well with both traditional as well as modern roles.

Apart from Poonam Bajwa, the film also features Joju Goerge, Rahul Madhav, Lal, and Anjana Menon. "The untitled project is a love story with elements of humour in it. Joju George plays a retired army officer and Poonam is his wife. Their story is shown as a flashback in the film", said the director.

"Lal sir plays Sachi, a police officer who is currently under suspension. He comes across a news article and is in search of the truth". Actors Babu Antony and Murali Krishnan will also feature in the film. The movie set to go under production in June at Peermedu and will later travel to Thodupuzha for additional filming.
