Premam Director Alphonse Putharen is engaged

Alphonse Putharen would soon get hitched to Aleena Mary Antony, who is the daughter of producer Alwin Antony. The Premam director got engaged to Aleena at the Little Flower Church in Elamkulam, Kochi on Monday. The engagement ceremony was a private affair, attended by close friends and relatives of the two. Nazriya Nazim and producer Anto Joseph were amongst the film fraternity who attended the engagement.

The couple also organised a post engagement reception, in which all the superstars including Mammootty and Mohanlal were invited. Dulquer Salmaan and his wife Amal Sufiya, Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim, Farhaan Faasil were amongst the other celebrities who dazzled the event. The cast and the crew from Premam was also present, except Nivin Pauly.

It is said that the couple opted for arranged marriage. It was a mutual decision put forward by of both the families. He couple will tie the knot on August 22 in Kochi itself.
