Rimi Tomy Reveals How She Worked On Her Fashion Sense
Updated : April 06, 2016 11:03 AM IST Donning long skirts, having strings of jasmine in the hair, along with some sandalwood paste over her bindi, Rimi Tomy entered the entertainment industry in a typical Malayali look. However, the singer-turned-anchor-turned-actress has had a complete make-over since 2012. Now she is often seen wearing evening gowns and silhouettes with grace.
Talking about her fashion sense, Rimi said in a statement, “I started wearing jeans only after my marriage, that too at the insistence of my mother-in-law. Later I started a boutique with my friend Melvin. He was the one who taught me the first lessons of fashion”.
“Over the years I have lost weight, experimented with different hairstyles and started using designer pieces. It was no overnight transformation”, she said and added, “If a particular style or costume is not vulgar and suits my body , I will definitely go for it”. The actress has further revealed that she loves wearing sarees, which make most of her wardrobe.
