Shamna Kasim Dons The Hat Of A Cop In Oru Kuttanadan Blog

Actress Shamna Kasim has been known to play unique roles in films. She had played roles such as a pregnant, a hearing-impaired woman.  The actress was last seen in the latest Tamil flick Savarakathi, which has been lauded by the audiences. Now, it has been heard that the actress will play a different avatar in director Sethu’s debut film.

Sethu’s debut directorial, titled Oru Kuttanadan Blog, is set to have Shamna play a police officer named Neena. Talking about the film the director said, “Krishnapuram police station has only seen policemen till then. When a pretty woman takes charge as an officer there, it surprises the villagers as it’s something they have never witnessed. It becomes an episode on the blog, through which the film’s story is narrated”.

He also said that the character has a tinge of humour. The film also stars Mammootty as blog writer Hari. His character in the film is influential. Meanwhile, the shooting of the film is going to commence in the first week of March. Anu Sithara and Raai Laxmi are playing the female leads in the flick.
