Sobhita Dhulipala To Play A Sex Worker In Her Next

Sobhita Dhulipala made her acting debut with Anurag Kashyap 's Raman Raghav 2.0 in 2016. While she is just one film old in the movie business, she is not new to the glamour industry. She bagged Miss India pageant when she was 19 and was even nominated for a Critics’ Choice award for her performance in debut film Raman Raghav 2.0 at the Cannes. She is all prepped up for her next film in Mollywood.

Her next film, Moothon , is a bilingual adventure drama film. Helmed by Geetu Mohandas, the flick is being jointly bankrolled by Aanand L. Rai, Ajay G. Rai and Alan McAlex. The actress is playing the role of a sex worker in Moothon .

Talking about her role in her next film, she said, “She’s from Kamathipura in Mumbai and is feisty and gorgeous, yet complex. The kind who personifies the smell of coffee! To portray a sex worker in her everyday spirit while staying true to reality became a journey into understanding my own psyche. We went through workshops and I did a lot of homework on my own. My character emotionally broke me and built me in ways I couldn’t have by myself”.

The film also stars Nivin Pauly and Shashank Arora. Geetu is making her debut in the feature-length directorial in Malayalam.
