Vinayan’s Next Is A Biopic On Kalabhavan Mani

Mollywood producer cum director Vinayan is all set to make another biopic. Previously, he announced that he would make a movie based on the life of Kalabhavan Mani. The director had been instrumental in making Kalabhavan Mani a big star but unfortunately, the talented actor had passed away. 

Earlier, Vinayan made the film ‘Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njanum’, which was a heart-wrenching tale of a visually-challenged man and his family which captured audience all-inclusively. But in this flick, Vinayan said that the movie has been titled ‘Chalakudykkaran Changathi’ and the casting process is underway. This movie will also introduce a new face to the Mollywood industry.

Further speaking about the movie the director said, “The movie is not about Kalabhavan Mani, but is based on his life. The life of a talented boy from a lower caste who makes it big in the film industry and how he slowly loses grip of it. It will shed light on how our society still marginalises dark-skinned people.” The movie is planned to go on floors by mid-October. The movie is planned to hit the floors by mid-October.
