6 Football Movies You Should See If You Are A Football Freak!!

After the biggest of football carnivals in the form of Euro and Copa, the football frenzy seems to have died down. Bollywood hasn't done anything to ride on the football fever.

Only the posts that showed Baba Ramdev draped in a dhoti wearing sport shoes and playing football with the stars at JLN stadium had attracted attention towards football. This might hint towards even a Patanjali Football Academy.

1) Saaheb(1985)

John Abraham is a passionate footballer with a gift of skills as well in this movie and rises through the challanges to take a mediocre club to phenomenal rise in UK

4) Hip Hip Hurray(1984)

Prakash Jha might be directing movies with political undertones these days, but he actually began his directorial days with this movie. It is the phenomenal story of a computer engineer who takes up a temporary job as sports instructor in a school and leads the school to historic victory in a football match.

5) Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna(2006)

SRK plays the character of 'Dev' in this movie who is a successfull footballer in the US. But the movie is actually a drama and not a sports movie.

6) Sikandar

The movie shows a 14-year old boy passionate about football. But his life takes a turn when some unforeseeable events creep up in his life.
