Amitabh Bachchan Trolls Shobhaa De As He Congratulates PV Sindhu on Olympic Victory

Yesterday, PV Sindhu created history as she qualified for Gold medal match in women's badminton. Now, she is a step away from becoming the first Indian woman athlelte to win the top prize at the Olympics.

And as that transpired, whole of Bollywood took to social media to congratulate the shuttler. Amitabh Bachchan, particularly, was one of the most excited personalities as he posted tweet after tweet to express his jubilation at the Sindhu's impressive feat.

And as he did so, Big B also took a dig at Shobhaa De, who had criticised Indian athletes of 'wasting their time' at the Rio Olympics.

This was a direct response to Shobhaa De's allegations, who landed in controversy when she questioned the seriousness of Indian athletes.

Amitabh Bachchan didn't stop with a single tweet, as he posted over and over again to shame people doubters like Shobhaa De.
