The X-Men film franchise (adapted from Marvel comics) started off in the year 2000 and has been enjoyed by sci-fi junkies and geeks, children and adults. With the latest installment, The Wolverine, hitting theaters on the 26th of July!

Looking back at how it all started- Professor Charles Xavier recruited Cyclops, Iceman, Angel, Beast, and Marvel Girl/Jean Grey andcalled them "X-Men" because they possessed special (bad-ass) powers! This team kept growing as more and more comic book characters were brought to life. With superhuman capabilites like telepathy, telekenesis, flying, immortality, super strength, shape-shifting, weather manipulation............and a whole lot more!
