Superhero-ism is on a roll these days with The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the new X-Men: Days of Future Past, and Marvel's endless series of films! But, we can't help but miss Nolan's Batman. We've seen Joker, we've seen Bane and now, with Ben Affleck playing Batman, it only makes sense to give the new guy some more badass villains!

1. The Riddler

This green teaser was ranked as IGN's (Imagine Games Network) 59th greatest comic villain and we saw him in Batman Forever (1995) played by Jim Carrey but not a dedicated pain-in-the-rear villain he was in the movie.

His real name is Edward Nigma and has crazy level of IQ and can riddle you in more ways than you can count. Word of advice - never play a jigsaw puzzle with this green maniac.

Okay we know what you guys are thinking that he is somewhat like Joker, but with more classic tricks and also has that not-why-so-serious attitude. Our casting choice for Riddler - Leonardo Di Caprio.

2. Calendar Man

Calendar what? Calendar Man is an underrated villain and could not generate much attention but has all the potential to mind-screw Batman. Certainly not anything that would ever beat Joker or Penguin or The Riddler, but can flummox Batman in his own calendrical ways.

His real name is Julian Gregory Day and he does not 'mind-game' you but he can always screw Bruce Wayne's date-nights with Rachel. Imagine a villain playing with special dates and carry a theme. Potential right?

What a man can do with a calendar eh? A hybrid version of Joker and Penguin with some calendrical theatrics and you have a really messed up villain driving crazy in Batman's Batmobile all around Gotham. Our casting choice for Calendar Man - Tom Hanks.

3. Mad Hatter

Ring a bell? Alice in Wonderland? Ring a BELL? Mad Hatter has been a part of many DC comic books and Mad Hatter has been played by David Wayne (1960's classic stuff) in Batman series. Believe it or not, the guy gave Batman a hard time and some sleepless nights.

His real name is Jervis Tetch and is an outrageously mad man suffering from OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). He ruffles Batman with his psychotic mind-control techniques and then things get very messy.

This question would put us in a very tight situation but remember Joker and Gotham's reckoning - Bane? Just like Joker he would make you do crazy things in Bane's style. Now give us one good reason why he cannot get his own movie? Our casting choice for Mad Hatter - Daniel Day Lewis.

4. Man-Bat

Become a doctor, specialize in the study of bats because you are going deaf and the sonar will guide you home. Man-Bat is another experimental humanoid who would want to play around with Batman and can really be a bat.

His real name is Robert Kirkland Langstrom and his transformations are enough to creep out our Batman. Man-Bat uses echolocation to navigate which is something like Batman's Bat Radar.

So Man-Bat can transform, has superhuman strength and speed and does not use gadgets unlike Batman to have those bat powers. Moreover he is a better version of Batman but evil. Our casting choice for Man-Bat - Joaquin Phoenix.

5. Black Mask

So we only know a good rich man who is Bruce Wayne but rich people have rich enemies too. Hating Bruce Wayne is enough to be a villain and a master of disguise when you are a Gothamite.

His real name is Roman Sionis and he has a great bank balance to buy fancy masks, guns and people to be his mob. A criminal attitude with great hand to hand combat skills. Black Mask is another tough villain for Batman.

So Black Mask might take Batman down in a fistfight and certainly can bring Robin or Catwoman down. He has great reflexes and amazing agility, making him a wicked mob boss of Gotham. Our casting choice for Black Mask - Ryan Gosling.

6. Harley Quinn

You are a doctor, you go out to see a patient, that patient is Joker, then you fall for him and that's pretty much it. It would not at all be wrong to say that Joker and Quinn are lovebirds. We have seen this character in Birds of Prey played by Mia Sara. As if Joker wasn't enough?

Her real name is Dr. Harleen Frances Quinzel and with Joker's permission, she can take part in Olympics because she is a great gymnast and also Jackie Chan was her ex (no we are just fooling around but she has some good martial-arts skills).

Harley would not mind Joker bashing her up and rather she would be of the view that it's all out of love. Now that's screwed up aye! But we all like screw-ups, don't we? She can kill a guy or two for Joker just so that they can have a psychoactive-romantic laugh. Enough said! Bring her in already. Our casting choice for Harley - Anna Kendrick.

7. Poison Ivy

Go green is her catchword. Poison Ivy is an eco-villain. She uses the environment as her weapon to use the toxins from various plants and herbs to be villainous. She got poisoned by his high school professor and survived the brutality to realise that she can now make use of all those wicked toxins and be a villain.

Her real name is Pamela Lillian Isley and she can produce toxins that are highly potent. She can seduce both men and women which is another mind-screwing trait that she has. Also a great gymnast making her a lethal villain.

So a villain who gives you a toxic kiss and makes you do all weird things is indeed wicked. Mind-controlling narcotics and lethal portions make her a really virulent villain for Batman. She also can throw a punch or two. Our casting choice for Poison Ivy - Emilia Clarke.
