7 Bollywood Songs That Ruined Our Favorite Nursery Rhymes Forever

Has it ever happened to you that something or someone ruined your favorite memory of things that you were really nostalgic about??  If you realize the sentiment then you will really agree that Bollywood has done the same with our favorite nursery rhymes. Of the things our industry already seems to be running out of like, film titles and stories, song lyrics have really gone for a toss and are now looking for inspiration in our beloved lot of nursery rhymes.

The sad bit is that songs that have been produced using the nursery rhyme lyrics are annoying as hell! Here is a list of Nursery rhymes that Bollywood has completely ruined for us!!

The nursery rhyme we so fondly sang at every opportunity finally became a disastrous Bollywood number that we only get annoyed while hearing.  We are certain that the Bollywood twist to Johnny Johnny with Tamanah Bhatia and Akshay Kumar was really unnecessary!!

ABCD – Yaariyan

After hearing this modern version of the song we would really want to go back to school and never grow up again!! Happy to stick with the conventional ways of learning ABCD!!

Lalla Lalla Lori – Welcome To Karachi

The song not only ruined the India’s favorite nursery rhyme but also ran into a major controversy for its lyrics which made the ‘doodh ki katori’ a ‘darru ki katori’ !

Jack and Jill – Paying Guest

The failed attempt to make the rhyme funny with the actors dressed as females wasn’t really as cool sounding as the makers intended. All it ended up as was a disastrous romantic number! If that’s someone’s idea of romance!!

Char Botal Vodka – Ragini MMS 2

The song was certainly a rage coming from the house of Honey Singh, but it really ruined a very beautiful Marathi lullaby Yere yere pavsa, where the music has been stolen from with its perverse lyrics.

Twinkle Twinkle – The Dirty Picture

We loved Vidya’s sensual avatar in the film, but it was really creepy to see her playing sensual on multiple nursery rhymes!!

Jolly Good Fellow- Jolly LL.B 2

The unreleased film has already managed to ruin our happy time song from our childhood make a Sanskari version of it which is not that great!!

Sadly some of these songs are so catchy the that they get stuck on your tounge like how!!
