This Is The Most Honest Review Of Shraddha Kapoor And Arjun Kapoor's Half Girlfriend

After a long wait Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend opened in theatres today. The film is the adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s bestselling novel and is another modern day college romance. Mohit Suri has directed another romance after films like Ek Villain, Humari Adhuri Kahani and Aashiqui 2. The film proves to be just another weepy stretchy romance with weak performances. Add the music and the film is depressing saga which you will not be able to put up with even half way through.

Too busy in getting is accent right for the movie, Arjun nearly forgot that he is a romantic hero.Sh

Shraddha Kapoor as Riya Somani

Shraddha probably read her part and got so lost into playing her character of a depressed college girl that she simply repeated her performances from all her previous films keeping the depression consistent.

Vikrant Massey as Shailesh

That only one friend who is the voice of reason and in this case probably the only one acting in the film.

To get the specifics right

Even if you want to believe in the story, the performances won't convince you and the depression is just too much too take. Add some unreal elements like Bill Gates and India Gate roof top hangouts and there goes everything out of proportion.

To tolerate even half of it is an achievement in this melodramatic and predictable college romance.
