Here's Why Baar Baar Dekho Can Be a Make or Break Film For Katrina Kaif

The business of movies is a fickle and ever-changing enterprise. That is true for those who observe it (us the audience) and for those who make it happen (the makers, the technicians, the actors). Yes, even the actors must adapt and change constantly due to the unpredictable nature of the industry.
This is perhaps the reason why so many actors have faded with time. Actors, who in fact achieved stardom, came hurtling down when they couldn't adapt with the dynamic nature of the industry or couldn't cope with their failures.
At present, Bollywood has a good number of actors/stars whose career are under threat. Just to be clear, it's not as if they have made too many mistakes or refused to change themselves. But, given the unforgivable nature of the business, their careers are under threat.
Sadly, Katrina Kaif is one of them. And here's why her upcoming release Baar Baar Dekho needs to be a hit or otherwise her career would be in a big trouble:
She has delivered one of the biggest flops of the year in the form of Fitoor. Starring opposite Tabu and Aditya Roy Kapur, this Charles Dickens adaptation wasn't only a big dud at the BO but was also received poorly by the critics.
Last year, she did only one film and that was Kabir Khan's Phantom. The movie received received mixed to negative reviews and was a commercial disappointment.
That means her last hit was Bang Bang! with Hrithik Roshan, which was nearly two years ago. That's a long time in Bollywood. Also, that film too received largely mixed reviews, and her performance was also criticised by many critics.
Her film Jagga Jasoos is in trouble. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film had her starring opposite Ranbir Kapoor. But due to their very public falling-out, the production of the film was stopped. The film, which should have released in July this year, has been pushed back to next year.
Because of all this, Baar Baar Dekho, which releases on September 9, is a massive film for the actress.
