Revealed: Amitabh Bachchan's Role In 'Pink'

Speaking at length about his latest film 'Pink' director Shoojit Sircar has revealed that Amitabh Bachchan will be seen in the role of a lawyer. The film is a Delhi based thriller which stars 'Baby' actor Taapsee Pannu and a northeastern actor. 

Speaking to a news portal about 'Pink' he said, "Pink’ is a thriller set in Delhi and Mr. Bachchan will be seen in the role of a lawyer. There are three other important characters. One of them is played by Taapsee Pannu. There is also a North-East actress in the film.” Amitabh Bachchan was seen in Shoojit Sircar's 'Piku' for which he has won various accolades including the National Award. 

Speaking about Taapsee Paanu, the director added, "Taapsee is a very talented girl. She was last seen in ‘Baby’ and though her role was small, she did a good job. In ‘Pink’ she is out there and impressive.”

The film is scheduled to release on 16th September 2016 and the film's principal photography has started in Delhi.
