In the first quarter, Bollywood took us on a crazy ride with a lot of flavours on the platter and boy we’re super happy that the 100 crore rat race came to a standstill.

There was nothing larger than life in this quarter, instead we got a real dose of revenge with a pinch of nostalgia. 

What was more fun was the fact that our big stars went out of their way to choose hatke films like NH10 and Badlapur. They did not bask away in their glory but dared to attempt something new.

Word of mouth is new high in Bollywood. The audience follows more than just the words of Komal Nahta and Taran Adarsh.

Great script + Low budget + Great Actors (not stars) = New formula of Success in Bollywood.

With a budget as small as 14Cr., a par excellence theatre actor Neil Bhoopalam, a rod and a mind blasting performance by Anushka Sharma - Phantom productions are surely having the time of their life!

Badlapur

Based on revenge, the first clean hit, Badlapur, stole hearts nationwide. Varun’s brooding yet innocent eyes, the pain of losing one’s family and Nawazuddin’s cakewalk performance, proved yet again that script is the backbone of a successful film.

Team Badlapur nailed it with a hammer! Made on a budget of 25 Cr. Badlapur grossed more than twice that amount, which was totally unprecedented!

Dum Laga Ke Haisha

Who would have thought that a film shot in Haridwar and Rishikesh with a plump actress could have had so much dum! Dum Laga Ke Haisha is a sure shot winner!

Even Big B couldn’t resist tweeting about how much he loved the film! We’re sure everyone couldn’t thank them enough for bringing back the wave from 90s.
