From Amitabh Bachchan to Randeep Hooda, actors have undergone incredible physical transformations for film roles. Makeup prosthetics and gruelling physical metamorphosis helped these stars to achieve unique transformations for their respective film roles.

1. Amitabh Bachchan for 'Paa'

For 'Paa', the actor had to essay the role of a 13 year old who suffers from progeria. His makeup took 4-5 hours and was surely a tedious task. The role eventually, made Big B win the National Award.

2. Rajkumar Rao for 'Raabta'

Rajkumar Rao is the latest actor to join the list. He plays a 324 year old man in the upcoming film 'Raabta'. For the role, the underrated actor gave 16 look tests before finalizing the look he is donning in the film. The film, starring Kriti Sanon and Sushant Singh Rajput is set to release on June 9th. 

3. Randeep Hooda in 'Sarabjit'

To play the role of a malnourished prisoner in Pakistan, Randeep Hooda lost 18kg and was barely recognisable. Nonetheless, the film won him many accolades and proved to be a milestone in his filmography.

For playing the role of his doppelganger, Shah Rukh Khan transformed himself into a 24 year old fan Gaurav. Even though the film received a lukewarm response, the look was a major success.
